13th of May 2015, Moscow, London, Chicago:

IXcellerate, Russia’s premier carrier-neutral data centre operator announced today a new partnership agreement with LINX, one of the global leaders of Internet Exchange Points following a successful meeting at ITW ’15 Chicago conference this week.

With over 610 members connecting from over 63 different countries worldwide, LINX offers its members access to direct routes from a large number of diverse international peering partners. With improved performance and increased routing control LINX allows its members to profit from reliable exchange of traffic.

IXcellerate, who operate the newly announced Eurasia:peering Internet Exchange in Moscow have agreed to become a LINX vPoP partner in order to provide their growing customer base with access to the networks peering at LINX via carrier partners in the facility.

“We are excited that this partnership has resulted from the first day of the ITW ‘15 conference. The new LINX V-PoP will allow our Eurasia:peering members to benefit from direct access to one of the most globally used and recognized internet exchanges.” commented Guy Willner, CEO of IXcellerate.

“Operating as a mutual, not-for-profit organisation, we are continually looking at new ways of delivering more peers and driving down the cost of interconnection for our members. Adding this newest vPoP partner in Moscow allows more networks from the region to be able to reach and interconnect with our membership” added Ben Hedges, Chief Marketing Officer of LINX.
