IXcellerate’s Phase 1 construction of the Moscow 1 Data Centre continues as steel has been delivered on site and construction of the steel frame has begun. The Moscow 1 Data Centre is a 7 year old modern warehouse with 14 metre high ceilings. You can compare our data centre construction to that of a Russian Doll, where we are essentially building a smaller box (the steel frame) within a larger box (the building).
Once the steel frame is complete we will begin to construct the ceiling and walls, followed by new flooring and doors. Within the data hall itself, raised tile flooring will be installed. Once complete, Phase 1 will be transformed into a state of the art data centre in a modern Moscow warehouse.
