IXcellerate’s Phase One construction continues to progress on schedule. Our Schneider-Anord power switchgear has been delivered and installed. It had dual A+B power feeds direct to our brand new transformers. The two Emerson UPS systems have also been installed and are currently connected to to the switchgear input and output systems.
Our YUASA batteries have also been installed and connected to the datacentre’s power system. At full-load, these batteries can supply power to the datacentre, on A+B feeds, for 12 minutes.
SDMO has delivered the two initial generators for Phase One, which are designed to an N+1 redundancy. Our UPS systems are designed to an N+N redundancy. Over the next week, Mercury Engineering will complete all connections for the power infrastructure of the datacentre. Once this is complete, Mercury will begin commissioning the datacentre so our customers can begin to install their equipment and begin to benefit from IXcellerate’s 99.999% delivery guarantee.
