«Launching the third campus, we are investing in the digital infrastructure of the future» said Andrei Aksenov, CEO of IXcellerate

In an exclusive interview with CNews, Andrei Aksenov, CEO of IXcellerate discussed the launch of the company’s third DC campus in the Moscow region and significant investments in the future digital infrastructure, that will maintain the high pace of capacity deployment.

By the end of 2025, IXcellerate increased client-available resources by 2,040 rack spaces, launched the final phase of the flagship MOS5 data center in the Southern campus, which has surpassed 5,000 rack spaces, and commissioned an additional phase of MOS3 in the Northern campus.

At the same time, the company strengthened connectivity. Over the past year, IXcellerate upgraded the Meet-Me-Rooms in the MOS5 data center, integrating them into a single “telehouse” cluster and enabling installation of racks with active equipment consuming up to 10 kW.

IXcellerate growth relies on its campus strategy, long-term client partnerships, and systematic business process audits. In 2025, the company successfully passed recertification for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001, marking an important indicator of compliance with the global best practices in quality management, occupational health and safety, and cybersecurity. A key driver of growth is also the company’s strong reputation and the trust it has earned from both financial institutions and clients.

The headline announcement was the third data center campus north of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) in the Vёshki area. The new site spans 5.5 hectares (for comparison: the Northern campus occupies 3 hectares) and will have a total planned capacity of 130 MW. The first racks of data center MOS11 are scheduled to launch in summer 2026, with plans to add one or two more data centers on site totaling several thousand rack spaces.

This trend is driven by AI service deployment. IXcellerate is ready for this challenge: upcoming data centers will be designed using hybrid technology allowing both air and air liquid cooling.

«Demand for high-density colocation continues to grow – average rack power load has reached 12 kW, with some contracts exceeding 20 kW.».

Andrei Aksenov, CEO of IXcellerate

Alongside major infrastructure projects, IXcellerate team is naturally growing. Over the past year, headcount increased by about one-third (around 80 people), and the launch of new data centers MOS11 in Vёshki and MOS7 in the Southern campus will create additional job openings. Collaboration with universities also plays an important role in the company’s HR strategy.
