Kontur, one of Russia’s leading business software developers, has expanded its presence at IXcellerate data centers. The new server installation has been completed in the MOS3 data center (Moscow North campus).
The companies have been cooperating since 2018. Under the initial agreement, the client hosted standard capacity racks in the MOS1 data center. The 2025 contract secures colocation of high-performance systems in the new MOS3 data center, with loads of 10 kW and above.
The need to scale data center resources roots from Kontur’s portfolio expansion, growing customer base, and the use of artificial intelligence to optimize business processes and develop new services – including the Kontur.Tolk communication platform, predictive models for the sales department, quality control for technical support, and more.
When selecting facilities for its server and telecommunications infrastructure, Kontur shortlists sites with high level of reliability, redundancy, and fault tolerance (Tier III), which can guarantee service availability to users across the country. The company’s business is highly sensitive to outages; therefore, all infrastructure capacities must operate 24/7/365, including peak periods when server loads sharply increase (such as during tax reporting deadlines).
Equally important criteria for choosing a data center partner are network connectivity and a wide selection of telecommunications operators, transport accessibility for prompt responses and technical support staff visits (the data center must be located in Moscow), as well as opportunities for long-term expansion and scalability. The company is growing dynamically and plans to increase AI-based development, which will require additional capacity and space.

«For us, a good data center is not only about uninterrupted operation and impeccable reputation; it is a partner who cares about our customers as much as we do and is always ready to grow together with us. Entrusting our infrastructure to IXcellerate gives us confidence that we can maintain the planned pace of development and launch new products. This is a comfortable and time-tested collaboration».
Artem Preskaryan, Technical Director of Kontur.
Over years of cooperation, Kontur has highly appreciated not only IXcellerate technological capabilities but also its customer-centric approach, communication level and service convenience-especially the Customer portal, where racks can be managed, orders placed, and actual power consumption monitored.

«The development of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies requires not only data but also computing power. Only an advanced data center can ensure their non-stop operation. We build our facilities with high reliability and energy efficiency standards in mind and adapt our infrastructure to support modern IT projects. Our goal is to always be ready to support our clients’ growth and their digital development in the long term».
