IXcellerate, Russia’s premier commercial data center operator, has completed the acquisition of a 5.5-hectare land plot and commenced development of its third campus. The project draws financing from a combination of reinvested earnings and debt capital.
The site sits near the settlement of Veshki in the Mytishchi urban district of the Moscow Region, just 6 km in a straight line from IXcellerate’s operational North campus in Altufyevo. This proximity to MOS1, MOS2, MOS3, and MOS4 data centers enables current residents to expand seamlessly within a unified ecosystem with minimal latency, while new clients can commence operations flexibly without long-term capacity reservations or upfront payments.
The IXcellerate Veshki campus will deliver a total capacity of 7,500 rack spaces and over 130 MW of total power across two new facilities — MOS11 and MOS12. Beyond the core infrastructure, the campus will feature warehouses and dedicated client offices.
The first facility, MOS11, will provide 2,500 rack spaces and will be developed using a brownfield approach within an existing building. The repurposed hypermarket proves ideally suited for deploying data halls, significantly accelerating the commissioning timeline. The first phase of MOS11 is scheduled to launch in summer 2026.
MOS11 mirrors the design of another IXcellerate data center – MOS5, which meets Tier III design standards and operates in the South campus. The facility will ensure uninterrupted operations through full redundancy (2N) with dual independent feeds from two city substations, backed by diesel generators and UPS. Electrical capacity will reach 40 MW, with an average rack power density of 12 kW and scalability up to 44 kW to support high-performance computing systems.
Cooling for MOS11 will leverage the innovative Low Speed Ventilation (LSV) technology, also deployed in MOS5, utilizing chillers with free cooling and adiabatic systems. An integrated energy storage system will help maintain an annual average Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.33. Fire protection employs a hybrid gas and water mist suppression system. The site also incorporates a technological pond that collects rainwater for adiabatic cooling.

«The third campus represents a natural progression in executing our long-term strategy. We offer the market not isolated installations but interconnected ecosystems that enable our customers to scale from tens to thousands of racks over many years, eliminating migration risks and provider changes. Each year, we commission approximately 2,000 rack spaces, delivering critical infrastructure for the growth of Russian digital economy».
