Beget, Russian cloud provider, and IXcellerate, leading commercial data center operator, announce the start of their cooperation. Under the agreement, Beget will deploy IT infrastructure at the MOS5 data center located on the premises of IXcellerate South Campus.
The contract includes options for capacity expansion. As an initial phase, Beget is launching a high-performance computing cluster to deliver cloud and platform services. For this purpose, the provider has installed four server racks, each designed to support loads of up to 15 kW. The project also includes remote hands services. The racks are installed in a data hall equipped with IXcellerate patented raised-floor-free cooling system based on a static pressure air cooling chamber.
This proprietary cooling technology maintains environmental parameters in accordance with ASHRAE standards, ensures high availability, and allows maintenance activities to be performed without operational interruptions. Fire safety is provided by an integrated fire protection system, including early smoke detection via aspirating sensors, localized mobile suppression units, and an automatic fire extinguishing system.

«More than 1.5 million users have relied on Beget services over the years. We provide comprehensive computing capacity rental services, and quality is an absolute priority for us. We must comply with our SLA even in force majeure situations, which means choosing partners who share our values and can guarantee uninterrupted operations — for us and for our customers. IXcellerate fully meets these requirements».
Dmitry Abramov, CTO of Beget.
MOS5 has become Beget first point of presence in Moscow, complementing its three existing sites in Saint Petersburg. A key selection factor was IXcellerate proven ability to accommodate IT platforms of the required power capacity. Beget was seeking a reliable long-term partner capable of supporting the company’s rapid growth and development. The final decision was driven by IXcellerate strong market reputation and its track record of zero downtime.

«The growing number of cloud service users is driving increased demand for colocation. For us, this represents both a business opportunity and a major responsibility, as the continuity of many companies’ operations — as well as our clients’ reputation — depends on the reliability of IXcellerate data centers. Our customers guarantee availability and data continuity to their end users and entrust us with their most valuable asset — their infrastructure. Over many years, we have proven our reputation as an ultra-reliable data center operator, consistently delivering on our commitments in any circumstances».
