Euroset, Russia’s largest mobile phone retailer, selected and signed an agreement with IXcellerate, Russia’s premier carrier-neutral data centre operator. The recent partnership will include colocation services for over 10 high-performance racks built-in for corporate information processing (over 100Tb). Its terms also assume further expansion capability according to Euroset business needs. Connectivity was provided by fully-fledged infrastructure telecoms-operator, Circuit Exchange (Telekom- Birzha).
Alexander Talalykin, CIO of Euroset, commented “Outsourcing is one of the key elements of our IT and supply chain strategy. Early this year we have made a decision to change the existing data center provider and initiate a tender for a new corporate data storage partner. Our requirements for a new data center operator were heavily focused on reliability parameters and high service levels as well as reasonable financial terms. We are happy that our new data center vendor – IXcellerate – fully matches the above criteria. Up to now, we are fully satisfied on how we work together and hope their service level will only increase as we move to meet further Euroset business needs”.
Dmitry Fokin, Managing Director of IXcellerate, added “Every single customer of our data centre can always count on the following 3 factors: the highest level of customer service, unlimited capability to upscale the server infrastructure and 100% financial transparency. We guarantee that we meet 100% the exact terms stated under our Service Level Agreement (including the financial requirements). We highly appreciate Euroset’s trust and are ready to deliver all of the agreed commitments”.
